"The First Album Ever" comes out TOMORROW!

Most of our merch is ready to go! We're waiting on shirts, but the CD's have arrived, and the swag packs have been assembled. Autobots, roll out.

We have a show tonight at the Meteor Guitar Gallery in Bentonville, AR.
This is the first time that we're playing a show that has a massive screen behind us.  We could put whatever we want on this screen.
Our friends in Midnight Wagon put that one picture of Sal from Impractical Jokers on the screen when they played there.

I want to put a full episode of Seinfeld on the screen, but I'm not sure if they can do that. Or like Mario Kart gameplay.  Something cool like that. I guess we will find out tonight!  I will update the blog with whatever pic/vid we choose to put on screen! This is a lot of pressure.

MARCH 31st, 2024

This post is almost entirely about the music video for "Yellow Teeth".

This was our first "REAL" music video. Like, I had a budget, I bought props and supplies, I scripted out the video, etc. Very cool stuff.

It was SO MUCH FUN filming this one. I am so grateful to be able to work with people I love so much. Obviously, the boys in the band are always my besties for life, but we had honorary members Brice Witt and Alex Burghart working on this as well. Brice Witt took over role of director and that motherfucker was yelling at us on set like a real Hollywood movie. He's made for the business.  Alex got us all lined up, lookin' all cute, and was responsible for filming and editing the video. And he did such a good job.

Budget was 100 buckaroos. Most of it was spent on the food and confetti and stuff. I definitely ripped off Walmart hardcore. I paid like 20 bucks total for all the white fabric in the video, cause I went to self checkout, and the manager didn't know how to ring it up.  100% way more than 20 dollars though. Thanks, Walmart.

The shoot was a great time.  We were working on a time restraint though.  We all had work that day, and the soonest we could meet to film was 4. Once everybody got there, it was 4:30. Then, there was a big ole shadow blocking all the light where we were gonna shoot, so we thought about doing it inside. Then, by the grace of god, the shadow moved, and we were all clear. Took another hour to set up all the white fabric, tarps, and rocks (it was windy ASF). After that, we rehearsed the video at least 10 times.  We had to get it in 1 take! There could absolutely not be any do-overs. The sun was about to set, so we said fuck it, let's film it right now, and we DID. and it was AWESOME!!!

Okayyyy that's all I got for now :). I'm excited for the album to come out. This Crate show should be the most important show of our lives.

OMG! THE FIRST BLOG POST EVER!! This calls for a celebration

I've been working on this site for a couple weeks now at this point. I was inspired by the band "GOLD STAR" from Joplin, their website is fucking sick. I wanted them to design our website at first, but then I decided that this is probably a good skill to learn in case the music never works, LOL.

Just kidding! I'll never leave music. But designing this site has lowkey been a lot of fun, so I'm not even pressed. Maybe someday I can help other bands with their websites.

I'm super excited for our album to come out. 4/20 is the special day.  I've planned an album release show that we're gonna throw inside our garage, featuring GOLD STAR (I'm obsessed with them now) and my besties in Midnight Wagon.

I've got some awesome merch on the way that i'm SO EXCITED to show y'all.  We're just playing the waiting game at this point.

One more awesome thing to add to THE FIRST BLOG POST EVER is that we just got our BIGGEST show EVER!

We're opening for Water From Your Eyes and Friko at George's on May 7th!!

I saw Water From Your Eyes when they opened for Snail Mail last year. That was the first time I'd ever heard of them, but they completely stole the show.

Don't get me wrong, Snail Mail is one of my fav bands, and I was super stoked to see them.  BUT, Water From Your Eyes was just such an awesome experience that I kept thinking about for months on end.

THANK YOU SO MUCH to On The Map Shows for taking a liking to us, and letting us support the awesome touring bands that come through Arkansas.

With that said, the first blog post EVER, is OVER!
